To My Co-Servants In Christ
I
write this open letter to strongly endorse the ministry of my friend, Ed
Trudeau. As a Fine Arts Pastor for twenty-five years, I have been concerned
about the often superficial nature in much of what passes for contemporary music
ministry. While we do not find a specific gift of music identified
in the Bible, anyone who has been involved in extended service to the Kingdom is
well aware that music provides an indispensable vehicle for the functioning of
the gifts of exhortation/encouragement, prophecy, etc. How refreshing it is when
those who are called to this ministry of encouragement and prophetic challenge
use these gifts through the venue of music. It is like a fresh breeze blowing
through the church!
Ed Trudeau fits the above statement like a glove. He is a rare servant of the
Lord. During the last four years, I have been privileged to serve with Ed in my
capacity as Fine Arts and Associate Pastor Brookfield Assembly of God in
Brookfield Wisconsin. I have not only received great personal blessing from his
ministry in song, but I have also been moved to growth by the poignant and
sometimes pointed messages in his songs.
Ed has a beautiful, soothing voice which is nevertheless capable of delivering a
strong, spirit-penetrating message I encourage you to open your heart and your
church or other ministry to Ed Trudeau. I am confident that, through him, the
Lord will speak to His children under your care. . . . Thank you for your time,
and God Bless You!
Sincerely in Christ,
Gaylord A. Lemke

To Whom It May Concern:
Please accept this letter of reference for Ed Trudeau. I have known Ed for over
seven years. During that time, Ed has consistently expressed the desire to
minister in music.
On several occasions, Ed has provided special music at Brookfield Assembly of
God.
He composes his own music and performs it extremely well. Many times he performs
with an ensemble of fellow musicians. There have been occasions when I have
preached on a particular subject and asked Ed to provide music that would be
fitting
with the subject. He has always done a sterling job, contributing to the
atmosphere of
worship and reverence in our services.
Ed has the ability to sing from the heart and to communicate with me.
May God richly bless you and your ministry,
Bob Ona

To Whom It May Concern:
I have known Ed Trudeau for approximately two years. I know
him
to be a man seeking
after God in unique, yet scriptural ways.
Ed is a gifted singer, guitarist and songwriter. The music that God has given
to us through his ministry is both insightful and thought provoking. Ed's
ministry continues to
be a blessing to our congregation.
I recommend his ministry to your church or organization. I am certain that God will use him to bless you.
Sincerely,
Rick A. Moore

1 have known Ed for about 6 years in the capacity of gospel musician. In this period, I have always found him to be very genuine in his Christian walk. He has shows himself as sincere in seeking God, honest in his expression of this and open-minded to others.
This comes out most clearly in Ed's music. His presentations seem to come from the heart and stand out as unique from his contemporaries. Although I am sure Ed would like to (sell) his songs, his music does not appear to be commercial in nature but a genuine expressions of his relationship with God.
In summary, I believe that you will find Ed in his music and his music consists of the gospel message put to word and tune, in a simple and unpretentious style.
Sincerely
